Altlas Shrugs investigated and confirms the story about the Military having to pledge oath to Obama is false.
Blackfive tells me they talked to higher ups at the pentagon about this military rumor and it is false. If they receive official responses from General Cartwright’s office, they’ll post them as well.

New information indicates that this article may be an hoax perpetrated by jumping in pools blogspot. I will however not remove the article until such time it has been further investigated as in respect to substance it would perfectly fit the Usurper and it cannot be excluded the tag “Satire” placed later by the original author.
Okay well this is it, the Usurper demands the military to pledge allegiance to him and thereby openly commit treason. Anyone in the forces or in the civil service for that matter stands for the choice to become a traitor and collaborator with an enemy within seeking to install a dictatorship or in other words a state of tyranny and usurpation. Anybody who either collaborates or indirectly supports, by being an apologist or worse, the patholical narcissist Barry Soetoro makes him/herself guilty of seeking to overthrow the Constitutional Republic.
To all military personnel given the severity of the thread posed by the usurper Barry Soetoro to the Constitution and Constitutional Republic there can be no other choice than removing him from office now.

Secretary of Defense Robert Gates is extremely frustrated with orders that the White House is contemplating. According to sources at the Pentagon, including all branches of the armed forces, the Obama Administration may break with a centuries-old tradition.
A spokesman for General James Cartwright, the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, states that the Obama Administration wants to have soldiers and officers pledge a loyalty oath directly to the office of the President, and no longer to the Constitution.
“The oath to the Constitution is as old as the document itself.” the spokesman said, “At no time in American history, not even in the Civil War, did the oath change or the subject of the oath differ. It has always been to the Constitution.”
The back-and-forth between the White House and the Defense Department was expected as President George W. Bush left office. President Obama has already signed orders to close Guantanamo and to pull combat troops from Iraq. But, this, say many at the Defense Department, goes to far.
“Technically, we can’t talk about it before it becomes official policy.” the spokesman continued. “However, the Defense Department, including the Secretary, will not take this laying down. Expect a fight from the bureaucracy and the brass.”
Sources at the White House had a different point of view. In a circular distributed by White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, the rationale for the change was made more clear.
“The President feels that the military has been too indoctrinated by the old harbingers of hate: nationalism, racism, and classism. By removing an oath to the American society, the soldiers are less likely to commit atrocities like those at Abu Ghraib.”
“We expect a lot of flak over this,” ! the clas sified memo continues. “But those that would be most against it are those looking either for attention or control.”
The time frame for the changes are unknown. However, it is more likely that the changes will be made around the July 4th holiday, in order to dampen any potential backlash. The difference in the oath will actually only be slight. The main differences will be the new phrasing. It is expected that the oath to the Constitution will be entirely phased out within two years.

Military Judge James Pohl has refused the Obama administration’s order to delay the arraignment of Abu al-Nashiri, the accused planner of the 2000 USS Cole attack in Yemen.
This might be a propitious time to contact Judge Pohl and encourage a challenge Quo Warranto to the usurper…..Maybe Robert Gates as well….before this this awful mess goes any further.

Absolutely fascinating. Completely by chance, I happen to be reading the book “To The Bitter End” by Hans Gisevius. (Houghton Mifflin, 1947) He was a German lawyer who emerged from law school in 1933 and was assigned to the governmental unit which became the Gestapo. Gisevius recognized the threat to his nation that Nazism was bringing, and collected data which were eventually used by Dulles and the OSS (precursor to the CIA). In the book he describes the nuts-and-bolts techniques by which Nazi seized power from a formerly civil and law-abiding society.
One of the most pivotal events occured in 1934 when Hitler surprised the German military Officer corps with a demand that they swear loyalty specifically to Hitler as a person, rather than to the Head of State whomever it might be, as had been customary. It was not until after the oath had been administered that the Officers realized the change in wording. By then, they were committed. This act was effectively a coup d’etat, since it bound the Officers to obedience to Hitler the man rather than to the laws of the nation. See page 278, as well as the entire book if you want a chilling read.
Of course, there is no possibility whatsoever that such a technique could possibly be in the planning stage here. None.
