Man With Earpiece and Handgun at Obamacare Event — Provocateur or Patriot?

It is not clear yet if a man carrying a sidearm at an Obamacare event in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, earlier today was part of a staged event or a merely a patriotic American exercising his right to own and carry a firearm.
MSNBC filmed the man with the weapon and a sign proclaiming: “It’s time to water the tree of liberty,” a reference to Thomas Jefferson’s “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

However, a video capture of the man clearly reveals an earpiece of the sort federal agents wear. Is it possible the man is an operative dispatched to provide the corporate media with an excuse to link opposition to Obamacare with potential violence? It sure looks that way.
The government has a long and sordid history of using agents provocateurs to delegitimize grassroots political movements. Discrediting Obama’s totalitarian health care plan is no exception.
As Alex noted on today’s show, the man has the look of a federal agent or private mercenary.
Either way, the corporate media, in particular MSNBC, will get a lot of mileage out of the incident — without mention of the earpiece, of course.
MSNBC has acted as Obama’s attack dog over the last week as popular opposition to Obama’s draconian health care plan gains momentum. In particular, MSNBC hosts have repeatedly claimed opposition to Obamacare is racist. Chris Matthews went so far as to say opponents should be strapped down in gurneys and injected with sodium pentathol so they admit they are racists. Matthews talked with Cynthia Tucker of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution who said “45 to 65% of the people who appear at these groups are people who will never be comfortable with the idea of a black president.”
Obama’s commissariat will use the incident as a way to conflate opposition to Obamacare with potential violence on the part of “rightwing extremists,” as defined by the Department of Homeland Security.

Watch out, looks like they are trying to set the “Angry Mob” up to fall, by decoy. And wouldn’t you know it, MSNBC just happened to break the news. Patriots that saw this man should have questioned him, to find out if he was a patriot.
The man’s carry holster looks like an operator’s — not a casual carry rig. Note the retention mechanism. Most owners I know prefer their sidearm to have no retention mechanism, lest it interfere with their draw. LEOs are required to have such mechanisms, by regulation.
My vote says “Agent provocateur? Oui.”
You know deer and moose and bear hunting seasons are coming up and you don’t want to be scaring the hunters away. Vermont and New Hampshire count on earning money by providing Hunters with Accomodations. Don’t be scaring the meal tickets away!
Also, single women in New Hampshire and Vermont feel that wealthy out-of-state Hunters are fair game for Man Hunting Season, a ritual in these states.
After a long hard day in the woods, hunters go to local bars, and local single women lure them home.
Otherwise, Vermont and New Hampshire populations would be all in-breed.
