The presidency of George W. Bush began to unravel when some in high positions at the Central Intelligence Agency began waging a covert campaign against him.
It began in the summer of 2003 when officials at the CIA asked the Justice department to open a criminal investigation into who had disclosed to columnist Robert Novak that Valerie Plame, wife of controversial former diplomat Joseph Wilson, worked at the CIA.
The officials knew at the time the Intelligence Identities Protection Act did not apply to Ms. Plame, who’d been out of the field for more than five years.
Another blow was struck with the publication in 2004 of the book “Imperial Hubris” by Michael Scheuer, who’d headed the bin Laden desk during the Clinton administration. It was harshly critical of the Bush administration’s conduct of the war on terror in general, and the invasion of Iraq in particular.
Never before had a serving officer been allowed to publish such a book.
The CIA typically slow-rolled and censored books even by retired CIA directors.
“Why did the CIA allow such a controversial book to be published in the first place?” asked attorney Mark Zaid, who specializes in national security law. “There is simply no question that the CIA could have prevented the publication of Scheuer’s book if it had wanted to do so. And no court would have sided with him.”
Why would some at the CIA want to sabotage President Bush? One motive might have been to deflect blame for intelligence failures. The CIA confidently had predicted Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction. But none were found. The tactical intelligence the CIA provided to the U.S. military forces invading Iraq proved nearly worthless. And the CIA was caught flat-footed by the insurgency that developed several months after Saddam’s fall.
There may have been a simpler motive. The novelist Charles McCarry was a deep cover CIA operative for ten years. “I never met a stupid person in the agency,” he said in a 2004 interview. “Or an assassin. Or a Republican.”
The CIA’s war against President Bush was motivated by ass covering, or by political partisanship. But with President Obama, it’s personal.
Many are furious about his disclosure of explicit details of the interrogation methods used on some al Qaida bigwigs, and his waffling on whether or not those who employed them will be subject to prosecution.
Others are incensed by his decision to close the prison at Guantanamo Bay, and to let some of those incarcerated there (17 Chinese Uighurs) loose in the United States.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi held two hush hush meetings with CIA Director Leon Panetta and Democratic members of the Intelligence Committee last week.
“Her fear and frustration have apparently given way to panic after word reached her of the CIA’s reaction to the damage she, President Obama and other Democrats have done to the spy agency in the last three months, wrote Jed Babbin, a former Deputy Undersecretary of Defense, in Human Events May 1. “Pelosi learned that her actions and those of President Obama have so damaged CIA morale that the agency’s ability to function could be in danger.”
The upshot of the meetings was an unprecedented letter from House Intelligence Committee Chairman Silvestre Reyes (D-Tex) to Mr. Panetta, making a quasi-apology. Rep. Reyes asked the CIA director to “disseminate it to the CIA workforce as soon as possible.”
But the CYA nature of the letter, and Mr. Reyes’ pledge of more oversight are unlikely to mollify many at Langley.
Other Western intelligence services regard the Obama administration with contempt and rising concern, an officer of the DGSE, France’s military intelligence agency, told my friend Jack Wheeler (the real life Indiana
Jones) last week.
“All of us in our little community are worried — us, our friends in Berlin, London, Tel Aviv,” the DGSE officer told Jack. “It is not like the barbarians at the gates. It is every barbarian horde in the world being told there are no gates.”

Revisiting pre-election comments / and George Soros

I was blogging regularly regarding my research into all nature of the political campaign season, including vast amounts of research about Obama. I believe it is extremely relevant to today and this movement, so I am copying it here, just in case anyone has not heard some of the details about Soros, among other things. The following blog was written in October 08.
Too few people ‘get’ what is going on with Obama. Far too few understand that the change we have coming is not the change we wanted or were told about. And far too few realize that the real Obama is vastly different than the man behind the facade.
Sadly most people who have or will vote for Obama never bothered to do their homework, never took the time to investigate who the real Obama is and what his agenda is about. They do not know they are being duped.
What we have in this global community now is like a tipsy domino chain. So fragile, that if a domino is moved slightly others flutter, others topple, and a chain reaction begins.
The chain is part economics, part ideology, part security, part internal stability, part diplomacy. Mess with any of the parts, and all are affected.
Obama’s plan – and if any who may read this have not bothered to do any investigation, I urge you to Google and read two things – just two – one is about the “New Party” and the other is the Cloward-Piven Strategy. Obama was a member of the New Party (some believe he still is, but most who have studied his background believe that the philosophy of the New Party remains at the core of Obama’s beliefs today). And Cloward-Piven has served as the foundation of most ‘progressive’, radical, and/or socialist organizations, of which many are a part of Obama’s alliances (both individuals and organizations). If you read a bit about those two topics you will have some insight into the real Obama.
Those 2 matters are the bottom line. Much has been written about his alliances, much has been divulged about his actions over the years, much has been speculated about all the unanswered questions (some of which have been answered through research), and much has been said about the many audio and video clips of his own words.
If you have not bothered to assess any of that it is too late to educate you now. But it won’t take long to look up and read about the 2 factors above. You owe that much to yourself, to your family, your city/state/country. It is the very least you should do and in reality you should have done a good deal of inquiry about a man with virtually nothing known about him (still).
Today, after 2 years of observation and investigation, dozens of experts in areas of economics, energy, finance, stock market, body language, security, military, personality characteristics, media, politics, international relations have analyzed Barack Obama. These people have no vested interest in the individual, merely the reflection of policy and impact, personality and impact, strategy and impact. He has garnered enormous concern from most all such experts. He’s regarded as a man who poses great danger for this country on so many levels.
History has a way of telling us what is to come based on what has been. It applies to all nature of aspects of any civilization, country, leader, form of government.
This country was created by wise men with vision. They addressed a number of matters that they anticipated. They were dealing with Islamic attack even back then! They knew that a Democracy would not survive. They created instead a Republic, and indicated that it was a gift that would last as long as we could keep it.
Well, our time is nearing the end. We are in the transition from Republic to Democracy (massive government intervention over the people) and about to become an Oligarchy – and that is where all bets are off, all of what we know as America dissolves. That is when total control over the people is mounted by a ‘few’ elites. Those folks have been forming a line – behind Obama – and within 4 years their job will be done – the cake baked – and everything you knew, believed in, trusted — all gone. I believe that to the core – without any shadow of a doubt. So much do I believe it I’d bet my life on it.
YOUR CHOICE IS CLEAR – NOT FOR OR AGAINST CHANGE (IT WILL HAPPEN NO MATTER WHO IS IN OFFICE) – BUT FOR PRESERVATION OF OUR REPUBLIC AND FREEDOMS, OR ABDICATING OUR FUTURE AND FREEDOMS TO THE SOON TO EMERGE OLIGARCHY.
The word oligarchy is from the Greek words for “few”and “rule”. Such states are often controlled by politically powerful families whose children were heavily conditioned and mentored to be heirs of the power of the oligarchy. This type of power by its very nature may not be exercised openly; the oligarchs preferring to remain “the power behind the throne“, exerting control through economic means. Oligarchies have been tyrannical throughout history, being completely reliant on public servitude to exist.
Ant this brings us to George Soros. Had you ever heard of this man prior to 2007? He operated in the ’shadows’ and is now out and about, making sweeping pronouncements about his ‘wants.’ He is very likely the silent secret power behind the White House. (what follows is a summation of some research on Soros written last year):
George Soros, creator of the “Shadow Party”, put in over $14 million to launch the ‘party’. Other major contributors include billionaire Peter Lewis, and Jane Fonda (each putting in millions). This is a ‘front’ for the “527’s” we keep hearing about, but remain in the background. They are the sources of soft-money fund raising.
Lewis is apparently an active pot user in his 80s, and has spent millions of dollars promoting marijuana legalization (in Oregon, NEV., CA., etc), among other organizations like ACLU. Soros shares the passion to legalize marijuana.
Soros wanted to disrupt the 2000 Conventions (both parties), and brought in Arianna Huffington to ‘host’ Shadow conventions in LA and Phil. at the same time as the real conventions, for the purpose of drawing media coverage away from the conventions. Huffington now is a voice of LIberal Left and on the constant attack against McCain, but especially Palin.
Soros became good friends of the Clinton’s during the Clinton years in office. Clinton sent Soros to Russia and elsewhere in the ‘new frontier’ of Eastern Europe, and during that time Soros made a vast fortune with the help of Clinton, Gore and Lawrence Summers – junk bond deals, forming privitazation of industries. Soros takes credit for orchestrating coups in Georgia, Slovakia, and Croatia, and did so by creating a ’shadow government’ that he had in place to take over at the right time.
In his association with Hillary Clinton ‘they’ discovered they were kindred spirits of sorts, in that both believed US interests should be placed second to global (in areas of economics, laws, sovereignty), and both want global taxation, and redistribution of wealth globally (DUH – look where we are now). Both also have very negative feelings about Israel. He dedicated himself and his money to getting her into the White House.
According to an article by Richard Poe, “When Soros targets a country for “regime change,” he begins by creating a shadow government — a fully formed government-in-exile, ready to assume power when the opportunity arises. The Shadow Party Soros has built in America greatly resembles those he has created in other countries, prior to instigating a coup.”
And now the plot thickens yet more. The cornerstone of the “Shadow Party” is the Center for American Progress (CAP) that was started in 2003, and exists as a leftist ‘think tank’ with Hillary Clinton at the helm, along with John Podesta (formerly in the Clinton Admin). This organization combines money from Soros, organization and concept from Ickes, and leadership by Clinton (and Podesta). It’s offices are in Washington DC. (this info from UPI)
Does this matter? YESSSSSSSSSS On staff and in membership are dozens of former Clinton Admin. Secretaries, Under Secretaries, White House staff and advisors, speech writers, researchers, national security people etc. All of these people are around to serve as instant spokespeople to any comments, interviews made by conservatives. This collection of people and mission, initiated by Soros, is said to look much like the ’shadow governments’ he puts into place before orchestrating a coup abroad.
NOTE: the bulk of this shadow party are now employed in the White House, and in various agencies - just as I said they would be.

Seeks to legalize drugs (he is still a heavy user), at behest of Clinton, spent time in E. Europe orchestrating coups. Close with Hillary (they share a good deal of ideology). Made ton of money on junk bond deals in Russia. Support of Huffington, who does his biding. Cornerstone of Shadow Party is the Center for American Progress – leftist think tank with Podesta and Hillary in charge (he fronts for her); funds Moveon.org; supports Hamas; writes articles abroad that foster anti-American sentiment; financial backer of Obama. (note: and now testifying before Congress on what our government should doing with the economy - because he wants to tank the dollar like he did the Franc)
former LA Times columnist (Rosa Brooks) a far-left RADICAL (and I use that word as a tempered description – since we don’t have a term for how radical she is) – is now an operative WITHIN the Defense Department as an advisor to an undersecretary.
This same woman was a ‘right hand’ advisor to George Soros in one of his secret radical organizations! She now has access to top secrets within our Defense Department, and happens to be PRO Muslim.
Deepak Bhargava – radical activist, atty for Acorn, friend of Obama (they worked at Acorn at same time), has been the lobbyist for Acorn to push Democrats (Frank, Dodd, Reid, et al) to get Freddie and Fannie to make bad loans. He is now with organization (funded by Robert Kennedy Jr) to train immigrants in activism.
George Wiley and National Welfare Rights Org (became ACORN) run by Wade Rathke who started the SDS. Friends with Ayres
Citizen Action and Citizen Services (sub groups of Acorn), tied to the Booths, the SDS etc.
Richard Cloward and Frances Piven – and the Cloward Piven Strategy – read it and you will see the blueprint for Obama’s plan, for Ayres 60s revolution and other events. It clearly shows what the objective is and how they intend to achieve it. IT IS BLOODY FRIGHTENING. Philosophy tied to most of those who seek to destroy capitalism. As example:
The philosophy: “seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.” “Poor people can advance only when “the rest of society is afraid of them,”
The NWRO was Cloward/Piven’s first effort to put their plan into action.
Mike Klonsky – Communist (father was too, went to prison for being one); guest of Red Chinese government on many occasions, to counsel them on how to bring down the US; partner with Ayres in creating the “Small School Project” in Chicago, which received significant funds from Obama in 1997 while on board. Klonsky USED to have a blog on the Obama website, but it is now gone once people figured out who he was.
Harold Ickes – radical leftist, tied to Lowenstein, heads Catalist (a list broker of sorts with millions of names and emails and addresses and part of Moveon.org. (Catalist listed as ‘expense’ on Obama’s FEC records – hundreds of thousands of dollars). Ickes was on Clinton staff in secret role, but got fired because of his shady and illegal operations (too much liability for Clinton) as a ‘fixer’ for both Clintons (chinagate, filegate, teamstergate etc) Ickes is friend of Soros, helped create Shadow Party; They formed America Coming Together, America Votes (Obama has been associated with this group, as is Acorn), Thunder Road Group, among others. The various groups may all be part of Acorn.
As you can see, the idea of “six degrees of separation” is a reality with Obama and the above group (and this is a PARTIAL list of dark and evil people with long association with Obama).

“It has long been surmised that government intelligence agencies have for years been covering up documents and activities relating to extra-terrestrial intelligence, and a public answer is long overdue,” said a report on the requests in the May issue of the Freedom Watch newsletter.
DVD reveals startling scriptural evidence from noted scholars like Dave Hunt (”The Archon Conspiracy”) and I.D.E. Thomas (”The Omega Conspiracy”) which reveals the hidden truth about UFO’s and the beings who operate them.
Klayman has been associated with efforts to uncover government corruption for years – dating back to the Clinton administration.
“Have the tens of thousands of documented sightings over the years been the result of a collective psychosis, a self-delusionary fabrication of the mind, or is there something more to these incidents?” asks the report.
It makes specific mention of mass sightings such as the March 13, 1997, “Phoenix Lights” and the Mexico City incident July 11, 1991.

“[W]ere these incidents something akin to a mass hallucination, were they ‘black’ government projects in plain sight, atmospheric phenomena, or were they truly other-worldly in nature?” the reports asks.
The report says the government has not had much to say about the phenomena since the Air Force’s “Project Blue Book
” was reportedly closed in 1969.
As video and photography equipment has become inexpensive and universally available in recent years, the intrigue surrounding UFOs has only increased,” says the report.
“Browse through YouTube and Google video websites and you will see thousands of home videos of alleged UFOs. NASA astronauts Gordon ‘Gordon’ Cooper, Neil Armstrong and Edwin ‘Buzz’ Aldrin are among the many atronauts who have reported in interviews to have seen UFOs. You can find official NASA videos taken aboard space shuttle flights that have recorded UFOs that simply cannot be explained away. There have been countless recorded transmissions of veteran commercial aircraft pilots who have given minute-by-minute descriptions of UFOs flying next to them, so many, in fact, that it has become the official policy of all major airlines that their pilots
no longer discuss UFO sightings with the public.”
The report cites a recent poll showing 72 percent of Americans believe the government is not telling the public everything it knows regarding UFOs.
“It is time for the truth to be known, and our question is simple and straightforward: ‘What is the government not telling us about UFOs?’”
