Zanzibar ‘leased’ Mombasa to Britain. Mombasa was a British Protectorate during this time period
Addressing WND’s second reason listed as to why it is believe the Lucas obtained cert is a forgery:
Until 1964, Kenya was the Dominion of Kenya, not the Republic of Kenya, and Mombasa was part of Zanzibar until December 12, 1963, not a coastal province of Kenya.
Maybe this will clear that up:
Mombasa itself was ‘leased’ to Britain sometime in 1895. The said ‘lease’ was in effect until sometime in 1963. Zanzibar ‘leased’ Mombasa to Britain. Mombasa was a British Protectorate during this time period. The protectorate was known as the Bristish Protectorate of Kenya. This protectorate was seperate from the Kenya Colony.
WND makes contradictory mistake .. says Coast Provincial did not exist in 1961, but later in same article say birth records were taken between 1960 and 1963 from same hospital. How could that be, thought it didn’t exist to have those records back 1960-63?

In the beginning of this article, WND says as the first reason the document is a forgery because:
Coast Province General Hospital did not exist in 1961.
But, then, later in the article (about half-way down), WND totally contradicts that claim by saying:
Administrators and doctors at Coast Provincial Hospital in Mombasa told WND sources that in 2004 a high-level team of Kenya’s National Security Intelligence Service came to the hospital and seized all files containing birth certificate documents from the years 1960 through 1963.
Is WND aware of that? If their second statement is true, then Coast Province Hospital (sometimes referred to as Coast Provincial General Hospital) would have existed back in 1961, otherwise there would be no records to seize from that year (or year-range) otherwise.

(Sept. 5, 2010) — Lucas Daniel Smith has just completed a mailing to each member of Congress a copy of a document which he stated is a certified copy of the original birth certificate of Barack Hussein Obama II showing that Obama was born in Kenya, Africa. Each birth certificate copy was sent with a seven-page, individually-notarized letter by certified mail. The project was completed on August 31, 2010.
